Bamboo handling advice:
It is recommended that you only use items from the Bamboo collection by Exotan in a sun room, greenhouse or under a canopy. This is because the natural material is sensitive to direct sunlight and rainfall, causing damage and/or mould on the porous material.
Material:
Bamboo garden furniture immediately gives a holiday feeling. Bamboo is an extremely sturdy natural product, which is also very flexible: this ensures a very high durability level. Bamboo is very light in colour but can react strongly to the environment. The weather influences cause bamboo to slowly turn grey or become mouldy. The cushion has a strong outer fabric and the filling is standard foam. This means that the cushion cannot be left outside, so store it away immediately after use.

Maintenance:
All bamboo furniture is pre-treated to slow down the greying process. To increase the lifespan, it is recommended that you treat the furniture once a year, using a special Bamboo Protector. Any stains can be sanded down with a light sandpaper prior to treatment. Protect the furniture from rain, night and winter with a plastic film or protective cover. If possible, we advise that you store the funiture indoors in winter. Always make sure that the furniture cannot stand in a puddle of water, and that water does not remain on the furniture after rainfall. The water will soak into the furniture and leave marks after a while. These stains are not always easy to remove. Remove other stains with a neutral soap. Do not use chemicals or high pressure cleaners.
