Oranje Brushed Leather Care Kit Leather Care
The Oranje Brushed Leather Care Kit leather care contains various products for maintenance, cleaning and protection of sanded leather types such as Kenya, Africa, Nubuck, Suede, etc..
The kit consists of:
– Aerosol Leather Protector: Protects against dirt and stains based on water, grease and oil.
– Vintage Lotion: Cleans and offers extra protection (for example nubuck or suede stains).
– Nubuck sponge: The nubuck sponge is used for light, superficial contamination and when lightly brushing to maintain / restore the “velvet” appearance of nubuck and suede.
Instructions:
Aerosol Leather Protector 500 ml:
Surface must be colourfast. First test on a non visible part.
If the colour drops, do not treat with this product.
Hold the aerosol upright and spray at approximately 20 – 30 cm spacing in even lanes.
Drying time about 12 hours. Can content is sufficient for approximately 5 – 6 m2. Avoid overdosing.
We also advise to give your leather a Leather Protector treatment every 6 months.
Use this in well-ventilated spaces only!
Vintage Lotion 500 ml:
For use in an unobtrusive location, test for colour fastness and resistance.
Compare only after the product is dry.
Put the Leather Vintage Lotion Spray on a non-fluffing, clean, white cloth or wash cloth.
Clean the leather with a flat hand in light circular movements.
Regularly take a clean part of the cloth. Avoid rubbing the product in too harshly.
If desired, after drying, lightly rub the leather with a soft brush or dry white terry cloth.
Nubuck sponge
Brush softly until the grime is gone and / or the “velvet” appearance has been restored.
If necessary after treatment, treat the leather with the aerosol leather protector.
General advice:
Immediately impregnate new leather with the Leather Protector.
For existing leather, first brush it with rotary motion using the nubuck sponge and then treat with the spray protector.
Vacuum the leather weekly with the (often) supplied vacuum cleaner brush!!
Also treat the leather with the nubuck sponge at least 1 x per month.
