The Oranje Natural wood protector 2k is a natural wood protector (2-component matte lacquer).

The Oranje Natural wood protector 2k is a natural wood protector (2-component matte lacquer).
A colourless 2-component water-based hard lacquer (for indoor use) with a high degree of scratch resistance.
It gives wood an optimal, yet virtually invisible protective layer without discolouring the wood! Ideal for treating, for example, or oakwood or teak wood table.
Scope:
Suitable for untreated wooden furniture and floors (oak, teak, mahogany, cherry, pine, etc ..).
Instructions:
The surface area should be treated with at least 2 layers of lacquer (use at least 3 layers on floors).
Sand the untreated wood surface with grain P150-P180 and clear of grease and abrasive dust.
Do not sand previously coloured wood, as the layer of lacquer / colour will be affected!
Do not process the lacquer in a space below ± 10 Celsius.
Before use, stir the wood protector well and do not dilute.
Then add the correct amount of hardener (8% = 1/12 part) while stirring.
Afterwards, leave the lacquer to rest for 15 minutes, then use it on the wood within ± 2 hours.
Pay attention! Only mix the amount of lacquer with the correct amount of hardener needed to treat the surface once (1 layer).
Apply the lacquer with a short haired (lacquer) roller or brush.
Prevent puddling or extreme layer thickness!
After the first lacquered layer has dried (± 4 – 6 hours), sand the surface with grain P280-320 sanding paper.
Then remove the sanding dust and apply a second layer of lacquer.
We also recommend that you clean the used materials with water as soon as you are done.
Additional info: The lacquer can also be sprayed (maximum spray nozzle 1.4 mm).
Drying time:
Dust dry after 1 hour. Another layer of lacquer can be applied after 4 – 6 hours.
The treated surface is lightly loadable after 16 hours and heavily loadable after ± 6 days.
Durability:
± 1 year in original and well-closed packaging, after opening, limited shelf life.
Not frost resistant, so keep out of cold areas.
Consumption:
1 litre of lacquer is suitable for ± 12 – 14 m2 (1 layer)!
Care advice:
Take care of the painted surface at least 2x a year with Matt Polish.
