Oranje Wood Teakfix Protector
Oranje Wood Teakfix Protector is a colourless waterproof protector for unprocessed (plain) teak wood or other tropical hardwoods (indoor use only).
Teakfix has the great advantage that the colour of teak wood is almost unchanged after treatment.
The natural appearance of the teak wood is preserved and the furniture is immediately protected from (moisture) stains.
Pay attention! Teakfix is not optimally resistant to fat stains!
Scope:
For untreated teak wood and other (greasy) tropical hardwoods.
P.s. Teakfix DOES NOT prevent outdoor furniture from aging or turning “grey”!
Instructions:
With the brush or a firm cloth:
Make the furniture dust free and, if necessary, degrease / clean the furniture with Wood Clean intensive wood cleaner.
Apply Teakfix generously and then let it dry for 24 hours.
For optimal protection, repeat the treatment!
Spraying:
Make the furniture dust free and, if necessary, degrease / clean the furniture with Wood Clean intensive wood cleaner before treating it with Teakfix.
Spray Teakfix generously, instantly rub it in with a firm cloth and allow to dry for 24 hours.
For optimal protection, repeat the treatment!
Post-treatment:
The treated surface should be maintained 2-3 times a year with Teakfix.
After some time, it is recommended that the furniture be degreased / cleaned with Wood Clean (before applying a new layer of Teakfix)!
Any stains can be removed (carefully) with a fine steel wool brush (always treat with Teakfix afterwards).
Characteristics:
1. Water-based product!
2. Creates a natural colourless protective coating on the furniture.
3. Only suitable for untreated teak or other tropical hardwood species.
4. Easy to apply and economical in use.
Drying time:
Dust dry after about 15-30 minutes depending on the type of wood, ambient temperature and amount of applied product.
After 24 hours, Teakfix has reached its optimal level of protection!
Consumption:
Approx. 25 – 50 ml. per m2.
