Still life with asparagus Mondiart Wall decoration
Still life with asparagus by MONDIART is mounted in a “swop frame”.
Swop frames are part of the durable wall deco collection by Mondiart, and can be swapped out.
In the case of “Still life with asparagus” by Mondiart – it is available in 3 sizes (for sizes, see below).
These art works for your wall have been printed using biodegradable ink. The textile is made of 100% recycled fabric. Add an aluminium frame, which can also be recycled, and you have a product that contributes to pollution reduction in the environment.
The decorative panel can be provided with certified sound dampening material, turning it into an acoustic piece of art as well. Good to know: All textile art absorbs sound naturally, but should you need extra damping, we can fill the panel with certified sound absorbing material, made of recycled jeans.
*For filling the acoustic panel, mechanically recycled jeans are used. In this process, the jeans are ripped apart by a machine until all that remains are the fibres. Zippers, buttons, and other non-fabric parts are removed by the machine. These fibres can then be used to make new products. Sound dampening filling can be used in all textile artworks, of course with the right certification.
This Swap collection was made in the Netherlands!
About the painter:
Adriaen Coorte mostly painted small still life paintings with an intimate character. With their simple designs, asparagus and berries, his paintings were entirely different from the large, boasting still lives that were in fashion at the time. On these paintings, the wealth and excess of valuable things and food were the centerpiece, while here, the attention is on the refined depiction of a single vegetable.
The original painting, painted in 1697 “still life with asparagus” is only 20 x 20,5 cm!
The Swop frame collection includes round, square and rectangular art works in various standard sizes. A swop frame is always delivered as a black aluminium frame.
